Currently I’m the Senior Web Developer at Xtract Research LLC. in Ridgefield, CT.
This includes working directly with the co-owners and legal team to create, maintain, and optimize the company’s 5-year old online product. Website is written in PHP 5 with a robust class system, utilizes the MooTools JavaScript framework, and is backed by a MySQL database. Development is done on a separate server with proper QA testing, bug tracking integration and SVN version control. Job also includes being a server admin for the Production, Development, and Off-Site Backup Red Hat Linux machines.
I also teach Graduate level Computer Science classes as an Adjunct faculty at Sacred Heart University.

Developing .NET applications for web and desktop deployment. One of which was a remote lockdown software for 3000+ student laptops. This project was eventually ported to Mac OSx. Another was a RSS feed based emergency alert system for all campus computers. Integrating applications with MsSQL 2000 and 2005 and Microsoft Active Directory. Built and maintained several VMWare development servers along with a bug management system, wiki, and Subversion repository. Currently moving to a Sharepoint server.
